August 6th & 7th
– The Black Isle Show, Inverness-shire.

This year’s Black Isle Show was the busiest for many a year, mainly due to a record number of exhibitors and the best weather the Highland region had seen for decades. The Fraser Brown Engineering Limited stand had both EyeLevel devices on show, attached to a Mitsubishi lift truck (Thanks to Gray Material Handling) and a JCB telehandler (Thanks to Scot JCB). Around 200 people visited the stand over the two days to try to level the forks on both vehicles, without being able to see the EyeLevel. Only 10% of the attempts were successful, with the lucky few going into a draw to win a bottle of Best Highland Dalmore Malt (Thanks to The Dalmore Distillery). Even though the vast majority of visitors to the stand were people who use lift trucks all the time, the low number of successful attempts showed that leveling your forks isn’t as easy as you may think!

September 2nd – 5th – Offshore Europe 2003, Aberdeen.

Offshore Europe 2003 – Once more, assistance from Gray Material Handling meant Fraser Brown Engineering Limited were able to have a Mitsubishi lift truck on stand 1513, to show the EyeLevel device. A very successful week, where we were visited by several hundred companies, ended with firm ties being made with companies from as far afield as Canada, China, Russia, Nigeria and Libya. Closer to home, several major Oil & Gas operators have expressed a solid interest in EyeLevel and some devices are already fitted, awaiting testing. So happy are we with the feedback from this event, that we are already looking to book our place at Offshore Europe 2005.
