Remote EyeLevel

The fashion in warehousing and storage is now to build “up” rather than “out” and this has lead to an increase in the number of telescopic lift trucks / telehandlers in recent months. This has been recognised by Fraser Brown Engineering Limited and we have developed the Remote EyeLevel product specifically for these vehicles.

Mainly used in warehousing, agriculture and construction industries, telehandlers are notoriously difficult to operate. Working at heights of several metres, it is impossible to tell if the forks are level. Remote EyeLevel works on a similar pivot motion, with aligning pins as the standard EyeLevel, but also uses the relationship with gravity, via a suspended weight, to ensure a correct reading at all times.

The other difference between the two devices is that Remote EyeLevel has two sets of aligning pins, rather than one. This means that the operator always has a set of pins in sight, no matter how high the fork head is. The device has been tested at distances of up to 20 metres and the pins are still visible.

Once again, there are a variety of fitting options for this product. Welding or bolting straight onto the fork head is sufficient, but this is not always possible. To this end, we have designed fitting brackets specifically for JCB, John Deer, Merlo and Manitou vehicles.

Designed to be simple to use and simple to fit, Remote EyeLevel is a cost effective solution to your load carrying problems.
